About Lisa
I already mentioned that I'm profoundly deaf since birth, I grew up in mainstreaming class which means that I go to hearing class and deaf class. I am sure some of you don't know what the mainstreaming class means - you will learn that in class. Why does the deaf person go to mainstreaming or deaf institute school. I learned how to use reading lips and I took speech class from preschool to 12th grade. It's not my favorite class! But I fell in love with ASL when I was a teenager! Meeting different deaf people from all over the USA, and everyone has their own "slang" in ASL language which is so COOL! If you choose me as ASL Tutor, I promise you that you will learn so much from me as a deaf person!
