About Phoebe

Firmly believe that motivation plays the most crucial role in language acquisition. When I embarked on learning English as a third language from scratch during the challenging times under the pandemic circumstance, I encountered significant hurdles. Despite my ambitious drive to learn, I found myself lacking opportunities to immerse myself in the language and apply it actively. Reflecting on my journey, I am inspired to assist fellow students who may be experiencing similar struggles in bolstering their motivation to learn a new language.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my responsibility is to assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop customized learning plans, monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary. Furthermore, offering feedback and encouragement to help students build confidence and achieve academic goals.

My lessons are primarily held face-to-face in the Macquarie area. However, I am highly flexible and can also travel to the student's home (travel fee will be applied separately) for private tutoring. For those who prefer remote learning, fully interactive online lessons are also available.
