About Misha
Hi! I’m a Warwick graduate with a genuine passion for helping others build confidence in English and that started close to home.
Growing up, my sister is dyslexic and found English particularly challenging. Working with her to figure out how she learnt best and seeing her go on to achieve an A* at A-level was what first sparked my interest in tutoring. It showed me how much of a difference the right approach (and the right support) can make.
Since then, I’ve developed a teaching style that’s all about patience, encouragement, and adapting to each individual. I break things down into simple, structured steps and create a relaxed, low-pressure environment where students can build confidence and actually enjoy learning.
Alongside this, my professional journey taught me just how important clear communication is beyond school. Navigating internships and graduate roles also showed me how tough and competitive the job market can be, and how difficult it is to present yourself well on paper and in interviews.
That’s why, in addition to English tutoring, I also offer support with CVs, personal statements, and interview preparation. My goal is to pass on everything I’ve learnt to help others feel confident, not just in exams, but in going after the opportunities they really want.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, focusing on building confidence, clarity, and strong communication skills in a supportive, low-pressure environment. The initial lesson is used to understand the student’s learning style, allowing me to maximise progress in future sessions and help them achieve their goals.
My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex ideas into simple, structured steps, helping students improve essay writing, reading comprehension, and exam technique while reducing anxiety around exams.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I’m happy to adapt the length depending on the student’s age, attention span, and goals. I hold a 2:1 in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick and have previous tutoring experience, alongside working closely with young people.
In addition, my professional background in analytical roles has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly and effectively. I teach primary, GCSE, and A-level students, as well as adults looking to improve their English, and I also offer support with CV writing, personal statements, and interview preparation.
