I am a Bachelor of Music graduate with a passion for teaching and passing on skills to others. I'm interested in many different genres. I am also a sound engineer/sound advocate and try to find ways of bringing both together!

I believe that lesson content should be of interest to the learner and be relevant to them. Once there is a spark, half the battle is won. I believe in a systematic approach that is guided by how the learner learns best. I don't believe in a one size fits all. Some of my methodologies include collaborative playing, concentrated remedial work and ultimately finding enjoyment through what you're learning. A typical lesson could involve a warm-up (technical development), introduction of a concept and then practical implementation of that concept to solidify it.
