About Ishwinder
Hi, I'm Ishwinder, and I'm a Medical Student at The University of Nottingham, and received A*A*A in my A Levels (A*s in Biology/English Literature). I have 3+ years of tutoring experience, and will be able to provide essential A* advice in my specified subjects to help you boost your grades. Tutoring sessions will be a place where you can ask as many questions as you like, as I know it can be daunting to ask questions in front of the whole class. I will also share loads of revision tips to help you succeed in your exams.

My lessons will include first-hand A* advice for students to do well in their A Levels. I have the personal experience of really making a change to my grade profile, having gone from getting Ds and Es to getting A*A*A in my actual A Level. I will encourage students to voice any concerns or difficulties that they may have, to ensure they have a solid foundation of the knowledge required of them. I like to incorporate the use of active recall within lessons, so at the start of the lesson and at the end, there may be a task that involves recalling information that has previously been taught. We can also organise revision timetables, and experiment with different revision techniques and decide which is suitable to the particular student. I will also be able to allow students to admire the subjects that they are studying, which, in turn, will encourage them to revise their subjects more as they actually enjoy them too. I will prepare exam questions for the student, based on what work they have been covering in the lesson, to solidify their knowledge.
