About Hannah
I'm currently a house officer at Chch hospital who graduated Rangiora High School in 2015. Why do I want to tutor then, you may ask? Well, really I just want to share my love for art with the younger generation and show people that they have talent and passion that needs unleashing.

I'll be honest, I'm not well versed in tutoring. But I know to motivate people to learn and how to explain things. Together they are enough to help achieve greatness! I am a doctor at Chch hospital, went to school in North Canterbury and went to med school in Auckland. I'm pretty burned out when it comes to my own study but one thing that's never left my side is my intense love for art. I spent up until Year 12 doing it as my favourite subject but had to give it up due to filling requirements for health science. I was torn. I didn't follow my dream some would say due to the high risk of a career in art. But its a hobby that has wax and waned over the years and I still discover more love for it. I'm experienced in soft pastels, watercolor, drawing, oil paints predominantly and am self taught. I personally think you can teach someone how to get good at colour matching and realism; but art itself is subjective. It's not about drawing the best tree or apple - its about making you or someone else feel something when you see it. And that's why I take pride in my work because to me they are all very much a representation of my nature. I can guide others to find this in themselves and indulge their love for art.
