About Elie

I began teaching French in Europe in 2009 after completing a Master's degree in Language Education and I'm a certified TEF & DELF Examiner. I have also taught French in India and I now teach it at a university in Canada.

I’ve always believed that every new language is a superpower: it opens doors to work, new countries, friendships, independence, and personal growth. Watching my students gain confidence and pride in their progress is what makes my work so rewarding.

I also speak English and Spanish, if that helps you feel more comfortable.

About the lesson

I specialize in adult conversation classes, focusing on topics that matter to you and introducing grammar naturally as we go. My goal is to help you express yourself with ease and confidence.

Together, we also build your personalized textbook, focusing on the grammar and vocabulary you actually need: so every class feels relevant and useful to you.

I'm also qualified and happy to support more specific needs, whether it's grammar, writing, exam preparation, or other learning goals.
