About Nicola

My name's Nicola. I was born in Manchester but I've been living in London for 10 years now. I have a CELTA and taught English in Spain and in Greece for many years before returning to the UK to do a PGCE. Since then I have been working in colleges teaching ESOL and Functional skills from pre-entry to Level 2. I love travelling so one of my favourite things about teaching is meeting people from different countries and learning about different cultures. I also enjoy witnessing their progress as they become more and more confident communicating in a new language.

About the lesson

>I have a PGCE and over 15 years' experience teaching ESOL to adults. >My classes are for Entry level up to Level 2 learners who want to perfect their communication skills. >I introduce the target language and then give plenty of opportunities for controlled practice to develop your accuracy as well as fluency. Lessons are 1-1.5 hours Lessons are 1-1.5 hours

Perfect! Nicola is a great teacher. She offered me exactly what I needed. For years I hardly had to speak English in my professional context. So, I was looking for someone to refine my fluency in English. Nicola really offered me a very personalized approach which helped a lot regarding my speaking and writing skills. No matter what the topic was (from EVERYDAY ENGLISH to LITERATURE), Nicola always immersed herself intensively in the subject. She completely adapted to my professional situation and always provided me valuable feedback. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend her!
