Getting started usually feels like peeling back the layers of a complex song to find the simple pulse hiding underneath. We settle into a rhythm that feels more like a jam session than a rigid academic lecture, drawing on 11 years of experience to make the fretboard feel like an extension of your own hand. You might be surprised at how quickly the electric technique clicks when we stop treating it like a chore and start treating it like a conversation.
I focus on keeping the energy high while we work through the nuance of your favorite tracks. It really is just about finding that groove and letting it sit in the pocket for a while.

Strumming patterns and electric technique are the bread and butter of my daily practice sessions. I remember the smell of the dimly lit stage before a set when the strings are fresh.
I have taught 100 students including teens, working professionals, kids, intermediate learners, and hobbyists. My 11 years of experience means I understand the pressure of performing live music.
We focus on reading sheet music to sharpen your musical literacy. Fingerpicking and rhythm guitar remain core parts of the foundation I provide. I keep things grounded and relaxed for everyone involved.
