About Zara
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and have 8 years of experience teaching singers across a wide range of ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes the balance between technical precision and expressive freedom, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students can grow confidently in their vocal abilities. I strive to help learners discover their natural voice and develop both skill and artistry through consistent, thoughtful practice.
I structure lessons to meet individual needs and goals. Beginners establish strong foundations in breath support, pitch control, and tone production. Intermediate students refine phrasing, expression, and stylistic interpretation. Advanced learners focus on performance, improvisation, and nuanced artistic expression. I integrate exercises, repertoire, and performance coaching to ensure meaningful growth in both technical and expressive domains.
Outside teaching, I maintain active performance experience, study contemporary repertoire, and explore vocal pedagogy to continually enhance my lessons. Sharing my knowledge, witnessing student progress, and helping singers achieve their musical potential remain the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

My singing lessons focus on nurturing both technical skill and expressive artistry, helping students find and strengthen their unique voice. Lessons cover breath support, pitch accuracy, tone control, phrasing, diction, dynamics, and performance presence. I incorporate exercises, guided listening, storytelling, improvisation, and repertoire practice to ensure learners develop strong vocal technique while exploring emotional and musical expression. Each session is structured to build confidence, healthy vocal habits, and a deeper connection to the music they perform.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on breath management, pitch recognition, basic vocal exercises, and simple melodies. Intermediate learners refine phrasing, vibrato, tonal shaping, and interpretive skills. Advanced learners work on complex repertoire, stylistic nuance, performance readiness, improvisation, and expressive storytelling. Constructive feedback, demonstration, and interactive practice are integral to each lesson to ensure steady progress and confidence development.
The ultimate goal of my singing lessons is to help students become confident performers capable of communicating emotion and musical intention effectively. Lessons combine disciplined technical work with artistic exploration, allowing learners to develop both skill and personal expression.
