About Santiago
Sight singing and exam preparation are central to my technique alongside breathing control, pitch control, and stage fear management. I vividly recall the nerves of my first performance, which is why I prioritize calm guidance after 10 years of helping students grow. My BMus Popular Music degree from Massey University provides the theoretical backbone for my instruction. It is a privilege to share this musical journey with others as we build solid foundations together.

I honestly find that rushing through complex vocal concepts often does more harm than good. My pacing allows time for proper digestion of material while ensuring we maintain steady progress toward your goals. Homework vocal drills assigned after every session provide the necessary repetition to reinforce what we covered. Singing becomes much more enjoyable when you feel physically confident and prepared for the challenges of a difficult song.
