About Bekky
I'm a passionate musician and vocal coach with a deep love for all things music and wellbeing. When I’m not teaching or performing, you’ll often find me immersed in yoga, hiking through the countryside, swimming in open water, or getting lost in a good book. I enjoy spending my spare time crafting vocal arrangements for my choir and exploring new ways to bring music to life. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Head of Music at a secondary school, where I’ve helped students grow in confidence and creativity. I also perform regularly as a wedding singer – one of my greatest joys is being part of a couple’s big day and creating unique, meaningful musical moments that they’ll remember forever. Music is more than a career to me – it’s a way of connecting, celebrating, and expressing something truly personal.

My vocal lessons inspire a genuine love of singing while building solid technique, stamina, and musical confidence. I tailor each session to the individual, combining technical training with creative exploration of voice, style, and expression. Lessons typically run for 1 hour, though I offer 30-minute sessions for younger students and extended sessions for audition preparation, songwriting, or vocal development projects. I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Pop with Jazz Vocals from Leeds Conservatoire and bring over 6 years of experience as a vocal tutor, professional musician, and wedding singer. Lessons are open to all ages and abilities – whether you're just beginning or refining your voice for performance or recording.

My daughter has been having singing lessons with Bekky. She was recommended to me by a friend. The lessons started at just half an hour but quickly went up to one hour lessons as my daughter was enjoying them so much! She cant wait for her singing lesson each week! These sessions offer a focused introduction to vocal technique, breathing, and confidence-building in a manageable format. 1 hour – £30 (in person) This is the most popular option and provides enough time to work in depth on vocal technique, range, control, repertoire, and developing your individual style. Perfect for consistent progress and structured learning. Extended Sessions – Price on request Available for those needing more time and support, such as preparing for auditions, curating a unique vocal sound, or working on songwriting and performance development. These sessions are tailored to your goals and project needs.
