About Joanne
Studying MMus Vocal Studies at Massey University shaped my technical perspective. Music is not just about perfect pitch but finding comfort in the sound you produce. You might find it strange that I focus on breathing control before notes. My 7 years of teaching helps me guide you through stage fear management, tone and resonance, and performance confidence while we work on warm-up exercises together to ensure you feel secure while you sing.

You will find a calm space that prioritizes your vocal health and growth. We start with essential mechanics to build your stamina.
8 minutes of focused warm ups set the pace. I integrate my university level understanding of vocal anatomy into the time we spend together. You receive free access to my breathing and warm up exercise notes to practice between our meetings in a way that feels sustainable.
