About Lennon
I am a dedicated vocal tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and over six years of teaching experience. My passion for singing began early and evolved into a lifelong commitment to vocal performance and education. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students from various backgrounds and levels, helping them unlock the full potential of their voices through a blend of technique, creativity, and confidence-building. My approach to teaching is personalized and encouraging. I believe every voice is unique, and my role is to help each student discover and develop their own sound. Whether you’re new to singing or an experienced vocalist, I tailor lessons to match your specific goals—be it improving vocal range, mastering breath control, or preparing for performances or auditions. I emphasize a healthy, sustainable technique that supports both vocal freedom and longevity. In addition to classical and contemporary vocal training, I incorporate ear training, music theory, and performance coaching into lessons where appropriate. My students have explored genres ranging from pop and jazz to classical and musical theater, and I enjoy helping them shape a repertoire that reflects their interests and challenges them to grow. Beyond teaching, I remain active in the music community through performance, ongoing training, and collaboration with other musicians and educators. This keeps my methods fresh and my perspective broad. My greatest reward as a tutor is seeing students gain the confidence to sing with authenticity and joy, knowing their voice truly matters.

Singing lessons are crafted to support vocalists at every level, whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your sound. Each session is tailored to your voice, goals, and musical interests, helping you progress in a structured yet creative environment. Lessons emphasize healthy vocal habits and technique while making room for expressive artistry.
For beginners, we focus on building a strong foundation through breath support, pitch accuracy, tone development, and confidence. Simple vocal exercises and familiar songs are used to train the ear and voice together, making early progress both achievable and enjoyable. You'll quickly begin to understand how your voice works and how to use it safely and effectively.
Intermediate and advanced students work on refining vocal technique, expanding range, mastering vocal agility, and developing performance skills. We also explore song interpretation, diction, dynamics, and microphone technique, with the flexibility to work across genres like pop, classical, jazz, or musical theatre. Music theory and ear training are introduced as needed to strengthen your overall musicianship.
Throughout the lessons, the aim is to support both technical excellence and artistic expression. Whether you're preparing for an audition, seeking performance opportunities, or simply want to sing with more freedom and control, lessons are paced to your growth and designed to build both skill and joy in singing.
