About Swarnava
Studying ECE, but passionate in CS. Studied DSA in my second sem as an elective, and also tried my hand in competitive coding. Have taken almost all major CS subjects by myself, from my University, from Ravula, and other online courses, as well as through personal effort. Capable to confidently tutor any subject for GATE-CS.

I haven't tried teaching a group of students as of yet, but a lot of my peers have benefitted from our one-one interactions. My method is thoroughly learn and make short notes on the subject myself, before meeting the student. Then, during teaching, I introduce the concept to the student, and ask them about the concept in different, twisted variations to get an idea of their understanding. I will reiterate the concept using different analogies, and different approaches until the student satisfiably gets it, or I feel that the concept would be easier explained through examples. After solving several examples with the student, almost every student is able to grasp at least some level of understanding. At the end, I ask them to make notes of what they learnt, to make sure they remember. I ask to do this on their own, but give them pointers and guidelines to help them remember which topic and concept they should note down.
