About Adnan
Hello! My name is Adnan, and I am a dedicated researcher and educator with a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences. Throughout my academic and professional career at major research institutions, including Columbia University Medical Center, I have immersed myself in advanced molecular biology, virology, and biomedical research.
My passion for teaching stems from a desire to bridge the gap between complex, abstract scientific theories and intuitive real-world understanding. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging, and structured environment where students feel confident tackling difficult material, overcoming academic roadblocks, and achieving their educational goals. Whether you are aiming to ace your coursework, prepare for rigorous exams, or develop a deeper appreciation for the sciences, I am committed to providing personalized guidance tailored to your unique learning style.

As a Ph.D.-trained scientist and active researcher, my teaching methodology focuses on conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. I help students grasp complex biological mechanisms, molecular pathways, and scientific logic by breaking them down into intuitive, manageable concepts.
A typical lesson begins with a brief assessment of current topics and homework challenges, followed by step-by-step problem-solving, visual diagrams, and real-world scientific applications. We end each session with targeted practice questions to build test-taking confidence.
What sets my approach apart is my active background in advanced molecular research, allowing me to explain 'why' biological systems work, not just 'what' to memorize.
