About Michael
As a rising junior Electrical Engineering student at Virginia Tech, I have a deep understanding of core physics principles. Having successfully mastered phys 2305 (advanced college physics 1) I know how to break down complex formulas, vectors, and forces into understandable concepts without heavy memorization. My goal is to help high school students develop effective problem-solving skills, build strong study habits, and gain the ultimate confidence to excel in Physics 1.

One of my biggest lessons learned, which helped me succeed in physics 1 was studying in increments. Given that my schedule that semester was quite strenuous and time-consuming, I knew that pulling all-nighters before the exams would not work. What I did was do a mini review of the concepts every 3 lectures, allowing me to fully understand the material and make sure I would not fall behind. I did this for all three of my exams. Before the exam, I would start by focusing on the last 3 units taught and review them thoroughly. Because I had done mini reviews for all the concepts, the day before the exam was focused mainly on practice problems/study guide as opposed to relearning the material. This helped me finish with a 90 in the class.
