About Ava

Welcome! As an experienced educator committed to fostering academic growth, I strive to inspire confidence in my students by providing personalized support tailored to their unique learning styles and goals. With 5 years of tutoring experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every session. My dedication to professionalism ensures that students feel reassured in my ability to guide them toward success. Let's embark on this journey together and unlock your full potential!

About the lesson

Due to my background of student interning a 1st grade classroom, tutoring an afghan refugee in English language skills, working in a preschool for a year, working in a SLP office as a student intern, and assisting a Montessori program as a nature guide, I have seen a lot of different teaching methods in various environments and have been lucky enough to acquire a vast array of skills that contribute to my way of teaching being a fun and engaging experience. My lessons are carefully orchestrated in a way that makes learning enjoyable, but also allows for students to push themselves and be proud of the work they have put in. Because I am a visual learner and have found that to be the best method of communication between my students and myself, I intend to implement as many visual references as possible to make my lessons animated and transparent.
