About Emma
I am a passionate tutor of violin, with a deep understanding of music and technique. I have led first violin section groups and I've played throughout high school and into college, and my years of playing have given me a unique perspective on the art of music. I strive to create a personalized and supportive learning environment for all my students, tailoring my teaching methods to meet their individual needs and helping them to unlock their musical potential.

I pride myself on my patient and effective teaching methods. I recognize that everyone learns differently, and I tailor my teaching techniques to meet the needs of each individual student. In a typical lesson, I'll start by evaluating the student's current level and set specific goals to help them improve. I'll then cover a variety of topics, including proper technique, note reading, rhythm and more, all while using a personalized approach to ensure that my students are engaged and motivated. I take notes on all of my students to study in order to improve my ability to plan lessons and help the student achieve their goals. As an experienced violin player of over 11 years who has led many first violin sections and taught small groups, I bring a passion for music that sets me apart as a tutor!
