About Emmaleigh

I first began violin as a young girl. I had heard a folk group play at our local school and couldn't take my eyes off it. So I started going to afterschool classes, fixed up an old violin, and have been playing ever since.
After many dedicated hours of practice and study, I was able to begin performing. As a teenager, I became a Scholarship Winner and Concerto Soloist at Utah Tech University, working with a nationally recognized concertmaster. At this time, I was accepted into the Lyceum Youth Orchestra as a first violin. These are experiences I will cherish forever and some that I hope to help my students achieve in their own ways.
Shortly after, I began my journey as a Special Event Violinist, playing at weddings, open houses, and other events. With my small ensemble, we were given superior rankings in state competitions. We went on to play at many events together.
Now, I enjoy my time teaching and taking gigs where I can.
So why should you take lessons with me? Well, let me tell you!
I strive to help my students find joy in playing as well as a desire to practice and play with purpose. I truly want to see my students succeed as musicians. I use a mix of the Suzuki Method and songs that YOU have chosen to help you reach your goals. I explain Music Theory clearly and thoroughly to help you understand what is taking place in the classroom, and often talk with my students or their parents during the week to know how I can best support and help them on their journey. I have loved being a music teacher, and would LOVE sharing this experience with you!

About the lesson

Welcome! I'm Emmaleigh Loveland, an experienced and passionate violin teacher with a focus on classical violin and a touch of bluegrass and fiddling. Ever since I was young, violin has been a cornerstone of my life. And I can't wait to share the love and joy of music with you!
With 6 years of teaching experience, I've been able to teach students of all ages and skill levels on their musical journey. I use the Suzuki Method mixed with some personal methods that best fit the student's needs, making our lessons personal and effective.
I believe in setting clear goals and fostering a deep understanding of music theory. I specialize in personalized instruction, tailoring lessons to each student's desires and needs. Whether you're a beginner excited to learn or an intermediate player seeking to refine your skills, I'm here to support you. I also offer supplementary resources, such as my own recordings and direct communication with parents, to ensure your success.
