About Chris
Spending 13 years on stages and in recording studios has defined my life. You deserve a teacher who makes bowing technique and posture feel intuitive from the start. I hold an MMus in Violin Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
I focus on scales, arpeggios, and shifting positions to build your foundation. Feel free to reach out to discuss your goals.

Practical music making is the only way to ensure your progress is audible. 6.0 is the foundational scale I use to measure your improvement across sight reading and performance.
I rely on my 13 years of performance to simplify complex shifts and bow control. It feels natural to keep the mechanics straightforward so you focus on the sound. We maintain a relaxed pace for ABRSM or Trinity preparation. Most students find clarity more valuable than speed.
