About Isabell
Hello, I’m Isabell! I’m a student at the Royal College of Music, and have been playing the violin since I was five. Thanks to the violin, I’ve been able to perform on many exciting stages across the world, including as leader of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain at the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall and on TV/radio.
My love for teaching began in the NYO during side by side activities where we would interact with other musicians in local communities, and has only grown since then. I have so much fun sharing my love for the instrument and seeing my students progress, achieve exam results and start to enjoy playing!

Over the last three years, I have had experience teaching beginner to intermediate students of all ages the violin. I am passionate about catering to the student’s needs and interests, from making sure learning the violin is physically comfortable to helping students prepare pieces for various occasions, whether it is an exam or an orchestral concert. I love making lessons as enjoyable as possible, and I am a very flexible teacher.
My lessons are typically half an hour to an hour, and I teach beginner to intermediate level students, working on technique and musicality to suit the student’s needs.
