About Trey
"Nervous beginners often find their first steps on the violin quite daunting. My teaching is calm and patient. I have 3 years of experience helping students of all levels.
We will focus on SIGHT READING and TONE PRODUCTION alongside classical repertoire and music theory. I also cover shifting positions and left hand agility. Grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity is part of the work. You might also want to refine your scales and arpeggios."

"Beginners usually start with a diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan for the term. I hold an Artist Diploma in Music Performance from the Royal Academy of Music.
We will look at how your posture impacts your sound during the 8.0 minute introductory block. You can ask me any questions about the instrument or the path forward. Perhaps you would like to explore some basic techniques. It is simple to reach out whenever you feel ready to play."
