About Ethan
Starting as a curious musician, I eventually found that teaching violin was my true calling. Many of my 277 students arrive with questions about rhythm and timing or the complexities of shifting positions.
I emphasize left hand agility and scales and arpeggios to build a solid foundation. My experience ranges from guiding beginners to exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity boards. Monthly progress reports ensure parents stay involved as I help you reach your musical goals.

Tuning by ear begins our time together to ensure your focus stays on tone quality. Lessons move through sight reading and vibrato exercises with clear instructions for your home practice. Since I hold a Master of Music, I bring a deep understanding of standard repertoire and technique to every session. Seeing students gain confidence in their playing is the most rewarding part of my day.
