About Josie
My passion for the violin began through a deep appreciation for its expressive character and versatility. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Violin Studies and pursue teaching as a profession. During my 4 years of experience, I have worked with learners at different stages of their musical journey.
I believe every student deserves patient guidance and encouragement. My teaching approach focuses on helping learners understand technique clearly while developing confidence in their own abilities. I enjoy adapting lessons to suit individual learning styles and aspirations.
Outside teaching, I spend time exploring violin repertoire, attending performances, and studying performance practices. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas and perspectives into my lessons. Supporting students as they grow into confident musicians remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop reliable technique while building confidence in their musical abilities. We focus on bow control, finger placement, posture alignment, rhythm accuracy, intonation development, and tone consistency through carefully planned exercises and engaging repertoire. Every lesson is structured to support steady improvement and enjoyable learning.
As students progress, we explore shifting skills, vibrato development, articulation techniques, sight reading, musical phrasing, and recital preparation. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s goals and current level, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience. Guided practice and detailed feedback help students continue advancing with confidence.
I believe violin learning should balance discipline with creativity. My goal is to help students become expressive musicians who feel comfortable sharing their music with others. Every lesson encourages growth, focus, and artistic development.
