About Amaris
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Violin Performance and have been teaching for 5 years. My love for the violin developed through years of study, performance, and appreciation for the instrument’s expressive possibilities. Teaching allows me to share that passion while helping students achieve meaningful progress.
I enjoy working with learners of different ages and experience levels. My teaching style combines clear technical guidance with encouragement and patience. Whether students are learning for personal enjoyment or preparing for performances, I create lessons that support their individual goals and confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music, concert attendance, and exploring different violin traditions. These experiences help keep my lessons engaging and well-rounded. I take great satisfaction in helping students discover their abilities and build lasting confidence through music.

My violin lessons are designed to help students build strong foundations while enjoying the learning process. We focus on posture, bow control, intonation, tone quality, rhythm development, scale practice, and musical expression through patient and structured instruction. Lessons move at a comfortable pace so students can improve steadily without feeling rushed. Building confidence is an important part of every session.
I incorporate techniques such as visualization, silent practice methods, mental fingering exercises, and relaxed preparation strategies to support effective learning. Students managing busy schedules or performance concerns receive practical tools that help them continue improving outside formal practice time. Lessons remain supportive and focused on individual progress.
As students gain experience, they become more independent, expressive, and confident musicians. My goal is to help learners enjoy their musical journey while developing reliable technical skills. Every lesson is designed to encourage growth, motivation, and a positive relationship with the violin.
