About Addie
Have you ever wondered how to translate the nuance of orchestral ensemble playing into a solo sound? My teaching stems from the Suzuki method I began at 4 years old, prioritizing listening and imitation before technical analysis. This foundation supports the elegance I bring to my current role.
After 7 years of instruction, I rely on my MMus from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music to guide students through complex tone production and posture. Having coached countless individuals, I find that clarity in movement leads to the most expressive results. I continue to perform in orchestral settings, which informs how I perceive the instrument in a professional context. My instruction style remains rooted in these long-standing traditions.
