About Elma
"Do you often wonder if you can truly master the violin despite having no prior musical training? I work with curious beginners and grade-exam candidates alike who want to build a solid foundation. My Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama provides the technical framework for my teaching style.
I find it deeply rewarding to watch someone grasp complex concepts like double stops and vibrato for the first time. It is a genuine pleasure to see students develop their own unique tone production and intonation."

"First lessons start with discovery. This is about finding your sound.
Over the past 4 years of teaching, I have refined a structured approach to ear training and tuning by ear. We spend time on scales and arpeggios because they are the building blocks of rhythm and timing. The focus remains on steady progress through music theory and consistent practice habits. Helping a student reach their performance goal is the most satisfying part of this creative process."
