About Carlos
A little about me: I have been playing the violin since I was 8 years old and have almost 10 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the Conservatori de les Illes Balears (Spain) and an MA in Classical String Performance from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.
My training is primarily classical, but I also love exploring other genres, including Irish/Trad music and jazz.

Have you always wanted to learn the violin? Or maybe you already play and would like to improve your technique, learn some new songs, or explore a different style?
I offer violin lessons for all ages and levels — from 5 to 100 years old!
Every lesson is tailored to each student’s needs, interests and goals. Tell me what song you’d love to play, and we can work towards it!
Lessons usually include:
Technique & posture
Scales and exercises
Music theory and sight-reading, when needed
Repertoire
I use the Suzuki method alongside other books and teaching resources, adapting the approach to each student.
Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to the violin after years away, or looking to take your playing further, you're very welcome!
