About Yara

I hold a Master’s Degree in String Performance and have 6 years of experience teaching violin. My passion for music began through years of performing and studying classical repertoire, which inspired me to share my knowledge with others. Teaching allows me to help students discover the joy and discipline that music can bring.

My teaching style is built on patience, adaptability, and encouragement. Every learner develops differently, so I personalize lessons to suit individual strengths and challenges. Through technical guidance, musical exploration, and performance preparation, I help students build both skill and confidence. Supporting personal growth is just as important to me as teaching technique.

Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music, attending concerts, and exploring music from different traditions. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas and inspiration into lessons. Teaching violin is deeply rewarding because I get to watch students grow into confident and expressive musicians. Their progress continues to motivate me every day.

About the lesson

My violin lessons focus on helping students build strong technical skills while discovering their own musical voice. We work on bow control, intonation, posture, rhythm accuracy, tone production, sight-reading, and musical interpretation through carefully structured exercises and repertoire. I explain techniques in a simple way so learners understand not only what to do, but why it matters. This creates a solid foundation for long-term improvement.

Lessons are adjusted to match each student’s goals, experience, and learning style. Beginners focus on proper instrument setup, simple melodies, and foundational techniques. Intermediate students strengthen coordination, musical expression, and technical accuracy. Advanced learners refine performance skills, phrasing, and advanced repertoire. Regular feedback and guided practice help students continue progressing with confidence.

I believe violin learning should be encouraging and inspiring. My lessons provide a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. As skills improve, learners become more confident performers and musicians. My goal is to help every student enjoy the journey of learning and growing through music.
