About Lila
I hold a Master’s degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy and have 8 years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. My teaching philosophy focuses on combining technical skill, musicality, and expressive artistry while fostering a positive, encouraging learning environment. I guide students to develop confidence, stage presence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Lessons are customized based on ability and goals. Beginners focus on posture, bowing, and basic repertoire; intermediate learners refine intonation, phrasing, and interpretation; advanced students prepare for recitals, auditions, and complex repertoire. Each session integrates exercises, guided practice, and personalized feedback for steady and meaningful progress.
Outside teaching, I actively perform, study repertoire, and explore diverse musical styles to enrich my lessons. Supporting students in achieving both technical mastery and expressive freedom on the violin remains the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

My violin lessons are designed to help students build a strong technical foundation while developing expressive musicality. Students work on bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, vibrato, phrasing, dynamics, and interpretation of repertoire. I integrate scales, etudes, sight-reading, and ensemble playing to enhance coordination, musical understanding, and confidence. Lessons are interactive and supportive, encouraging students to experiment, embrace mistakes, and cultivate their unique artistic voice while gaining mastery over the instrument.
Lessons are structured according to each student’s level. Beginners focus on posture, basic fingerings, bow control, and simple repertoire to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate learners refine intonation, phrasing, and musical interpretation, while advanced students tackle complex pieces, solo performance techniques, audition preparation, and expressive nuance. Each lesson includes personalized exercises, constructive feedback, and guidance to ensure steady growth, musical understanding, and technical proficiency.
The goal of my violin lessons is to help students achieve both technical precision and emotional expression. Learners gain the confidence to perform, interpret music thoughtfully, and enjoy the journey of mastering a challenging instrument. Each lesson balances discipline and creativity, making learning engaging, rewarding, and inspiring.
