About Melanie
I am a violin tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance. I love working with young children, making learning engaging and age-appropriate. My lessons use playful strategies that spark curiosity and excitement. I incorporate storytelling, rhythm games, and movement to help children understand musical concepts. Simple melodies are used to teach technique, develop ear training, and nurture early musicianship. I draw on Suzuki and Kodály-inspired methods to create a strong foundation while keeping lessons fun. Each session is interactive, encouraging children to explore, experiment, and enjoy making music. I focus on building confidence, creativity, and a love for the violin. Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing each child to progress at their own pace. My goal is to make violin learning imaginative, joyful, and full of discovery. I celebrate every small achievement and encourage children to express themselves through music. Together, we make every lesson a delightful musical adventure!

Students gain not only skills but also joy and a personal connection to music. Every session balances structured guidance with space for exploration.
