About Wren
I have 11 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in String Pedagogy. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of different ages and skill levels, helping them strengthen both technique and confidence. Teaching violin allows me to share my passion for music in a meaningful way.
My approach blends traditional foundations with personalized instruction. I help students build reliable skills while encouraging musical expression and independent growth. Every learner receives support that matches their pace and learning style.
One of the most fulfilling parts of teaching is seeing students grow into confident musicians. I enjoy creating a positive environment where progress feels achievable and rewarding. My goal is to help every student develop a lasting connection with music through the violin.

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop strong fundamentals while enjoying the learning process. We work on bow control, intonation, rhythm accuracy, posture, tone production, and musical interpretation through structured and supportive practice. Lessons are designed to create steady and lasting improvement.
I incorporate slow practice methods, listening exercises, visualization techniques, and performance preparation strategies to build confidence and consistency. Students learn how to approach challenges calmly while developing greater control over their playing. Every lesson encourages patience and focused progress.
Whether students are returning to violin after a break or continuing their development, lessons are adapted to individual needs and goals. I provide practical guidance, supportive feedback, and achievable milestones. My goal is to help learners become confident and expressive violinists.
