About Shayla
I tend to view the cup half full. I strive to see the positive in every "bad" situation. I believe scholars can produce proficiency at their own pace. I encourage and push scholars in believing in themselves. I love when scholars, I have tutored, do not need me as much or not at all anymore. This is such a great, wonderful feeling as an educator.

I have been tutoring for over 10 years. I have learned to build a relationship with scholars. I hold a bachelors degree in business and a masters degree in elementary education. I have learned to use analogies to help students better understand math concepts. In my 15 years of educating scholars, I have taught high school for over 10 years.
