About Vershon
I bring nearly 30 years of experience teaching science and a professional background in molecular biology and biomedical research. I have taught Biology, Honors Biology, AP Biology, Genetics, and Biotechnology in Texas, Georgia, and Maryland, helping students at all levels build confidence and achieve academic success. Throughout my career, I have developed a stellar track record of helping students achieve success on high-stakes standardized assessments, including state end-of-course exams and Advanced Placement testing. My students consistently perform at high levels because I focus not only on content mastery, but also on critical thinking, test-taking strategies, and building the confidence needed to excel under pressure.

While I have decades of experience, my teaching methods are anything but outdated. I connect well with today's students and understand how they learn best.
