About Areesha
Hi! I'm a math tutor with a couple years of experience helping students build both skill and confidence — from basic algebra through more advanced coursework. I believe math makes sense once it's broken down the right way, and my job is to find the explanation, angle, or example that makes it click for you.
In sessions, we start by pinpointing exactly where the confusion is (not just "I don't get word problems," but which part trips you up), then work through it step-by-step until it's solid. I emphasize understanding the why behind each method, not just memorizing steps — that's what makes math stick and makes future problems easier, not harder.
