About Lizzie

I'm a singer and vocal teacher with five years of vocal training. This is my first year teaching. Singing has been a major part of my life, and I’ve had the opportunity to train in a variety of styles, including opera, musical theater, pop, alternative, and more.

I love helping other singers discover their voices and become more confident in their abilities. I especially enjoy working with students who want to learn through the music they already love, rather than feeling like singing lessons have to be all technical exercises.

As a teacher, I strive to create a comfortable, encouraging, and judgment-free environment where students can experiment, improve, and have fun. Whether you’re completely new to singing or already have some experience, I want to help you develop your voice while making lessons something you genuinely look forward to.

I currently teach lessons from my home studio, where students can work one-on-one with me in a comfortable setting.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is centered around practical, song-based learning. I believe students learn best when they can immediately apply vocal techniques to music they enjoy. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual voice, experience level, musical interests, and goals.
A typical lesson begins with vocal warm-ups to prepare the voice and build healthy vocal habits. After warming up, we choose one or several songs to work on during the lesson. While working through the song, I teach and practice techniques such as breath support, pitch, vocal control, range, tone, dynamics, and proper vocal placement, applying each technique directly to the music. My lessons are for beginner-to-intermediate singers and anyone who wants to improve their voice, build confidence, learn proper technique, or develop skills in the genres they enjoy. I aim to create a supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace while having fun with the music they love.
