About Théo
Violinist experienced in traditional music (Irish and Center-France), I also have a diploma of 2nd Cycle in classical violin (with high honors) and can adapt to any type of piece that you would like to learn. I have been playing the violin for over 13 years and have studied music at several music schools and conservatories, giving me some versatility in terms of musical styles and technique. I currently play in 3 groups performing regularly in festivals and sometimes abroad.

Regarding my teaching method, I base myself as much as possible on the student's requests by targeting their objectives and working on their weaknesses in order to help them gain confidence with the instrument. If the student wants to work on a particular piece, we will make it the main objective of the lesson, if necessary I can propose pieces in a style that the student likes. In my lessons I suggest to alternate between work on sheet music (if desired) and ear work (try to find notes that the teacher plays on his violin). I offer courses: - of confirmed level for Irish music / Center-France repertoire - from beginner level to a level of end of 1st cycle in classical violin (~ 4-5 years of practice) - from beginner to a few years of practice for any other style of music!
