About Zaid
I have just graduated my bachelor's of Advanced Science with a major in Pre medicine. I am now doing an honours degree looking into how addiction and compulsive disorders rewire the brain for possible treatment targets. I fell in love with science since my first day in highschool and my passion has only grown since. I would like to share the joy i feel when i understand a difficult problem in science by teaching others . I have tutored other students doing my course or related courses, specialising in neuroscience, chemistry and biological sciences.

When approaching each topic, i first address "what are the fundamental understandings required to fully comprehend this topic?". For example, if you're trying to learn the pathophysiology of diabetes, i would first take you through the anatomy of the pancreas, the function of insulin and other important digestive enzymes and how these all function in the healthy state before going into the stages and progression of the disease.
