About Sanju

Hi, my name is Sanju. I worked as a full-time middle school math teacher during the peak of COVID-19. I've taught online, hybrid, and in-person classes. It gave me a variety of tools and methods to teach mathematics. I studied mathematics for almost 16 years of my formal education until my master's degree. I firmly believe that anyone can come to love mathematics, and solve math problems. My approach is always to start simple and build confidence as we go. I've taught students who were traumatized by just hearing the word 'mathematics'. I've also taught students who love the subject and want to be challenged. I like to say to my students that my focus is always to make math less scary and more fun.

About the lesson

My approach to math is to make it fun! Once you know how to break down a problem and solve it, you start enjoying it. It's not just about finding the right answer but also about enjoying the process, and learning how to break it down step-by-step. Math can be incredibly fun and empowering!
