About Yousuf
It is seen through experience over and again, any student working to improve his/her understanding never fails. With the right teacher though they can cut through weeks if not months and years. Most students lose interest during this time. The trick is to learn how to think, not what to think. The trick is to keep the fire going. To achieve this goal, nothing helps more than a teacher who coaches the student individually. How do I know? Because, I teach undergrad engineering courses as a TA and know lots of success stories on how and why students succeeded. If you want your kid to tell similar stories, it's your job to pick the right action and help build a brighter future for them.

New lesson starts where the previous one ends. Meaning, continuity is fundamental when one desires to learn new things. Therefore, it is absolutely critical to know where the student stands. Once that is known, I prepare the lesson such that the idea is presented with plenty of examples.
