About Rachelle

I recently graduated from USC in December 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and a minor in Cinematic Arts. I have been through the college application process myself, from applying to UC schools out of high school to transferring from community college to USC, so I truly understand how overwhelming and stressful it can feel.

Writing about yourself is not easy, and those application questions can feel intimidating. I am here to help break everything down in a clear and manageable way so you never feel stuck or discouraged. My goal is to support you in creating an application that truly sounds like you and highlights your strengths, so you can feel confident and proud of what you submit.

About the lesson

I help high school students and current undergraduates write strong, genuine application and personal essays by focusing on brainstorming, structure, and clear editing. My sessions are supportive and judgment-free, so you always feel comfortable sharing ideas and asking questions.

I create personalized brainstorming exercises to help break down each prompt in an approachable, manageable way. Together, we will outline your ideas step by step, develop your voice, and polish your writing so it truly sounds like you. A typical lesson may include planning essay outlines, reviewing drafts, and refining your work with thoughtful feedback.

My goal is to make the application and essay-writing process feel less stressful and more empowering. I want you to leave each session feeling clearer, more confident, and excited about your progress. Whether you are just getting started or polishing a final draft, I am here to support you every step of the way.
