My teaching method focuses on guided examples and step-by-step problem solving to help students clearly understand concepts rather than just memorize them. I typically begin by reviewing the concept or theory, then work through a guided example with the student while explaining each step. After that, I ask guided questions to check understanding, and finally let the student solve similar problems independently while I provide feedback.
A typical lesson starts with a short concept review, followed by working through an example together, then guided practice with questions, and ends with independent problem solving.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on building true understanding and confidence. I break down difficult ideas into simple steps, adapt explanations to each student’s learning style, and make sure students understand why a solution works.
My lessons are for elementary through high school students and cover all levels of math and science, including homework help, test preparation, and concept review.
