About Tamera
I have previously taught 3 students ( 2 children and 1 adult)
This experience has involved private lessons that took place in public places such as coffee houses or private homes where both the student and I could communicate in a relaxed environment. Both of the children that I taught were English born with English parents and wanted to gain some communication skills (during the summer) in preparation for starting at a Spanish school the coming September. I also taught an adult woman who had moved from the UK to Spain due to a job offer who also wanted to develop her communication skills as well as learn about the Spanish culture.

My name is Tamera Welsh and I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Leicester. I have previously taught Spanish to both children and adults. I am bilingual as I have British parents but grew up in Alicante. My lessons consist of improving conversational skills by simply maintaining a conversation with my student. I find that this method of learning helps to create a more relaxed environment as well as improving your sentence structure and pronunciation skills. These lessons do require at least GCSE level Spanish speaking skills.
