About Zhina
As a University of Toronto student specializing in astronomy and astrophysics, I am deeply passionate about both my studies and teaching. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and making complex mathematical and physical concepts more understandable. As someone who has recently completed high school, I understand the challenges that students face and have dedicated myself to provide helpful lessons. -My teaching approach mostly focuses on deep understanding rather than just memorizing. I provide my students with a clear perspective on how to approach and solve questions. My explanations are detailed by breaking down complicated topics into simple ones.
- I begin with focusing on the topic with a simple example and step-by-step explanation. Since math and physics are best learned through practice, I guide students through solving problems by explaining the context. The session finishes with time for questions, a brief summary, and practice exercises for the upcoming lesson.
- As a student who recently completed high school, I can better understand and connect with students. I believe that being an active learner is necessary for effective teaching, and I use this point of view to provide a learning environment.
