About Jana
My name is Jana Ali and I am a first year international student in the Specialist Neuroscience program offered at the University of Toronto. During the last two years of high school, I completed the IB program in the UAE and graduated as the salutatorian (ranked second) of the 2022 cohort. I did chemistry, biology, and economics higher level - scoring 7s on the external exams for each class - and math AA, English A, and Arabic A standard level - scoring 7, 6, 6 respectively. With that, I graduated the program with 40 IB points. The IB program provided me with a comprehensive and advanced understanding of the science and math based courses I currently take at UofT. During the first semester of my Neuroscience program, I took calculus (for biological and life sciences), biology, chemistry, clinical psychology, and world religions. I finished the semester with an A+ in biology, A in chemistry, psychology, and world religions, and an A- in calculus (all of which requires a score above 85%).

I am offering 1-2 hour online sessions via zoom that will occur based on a schedule that is decided upon between me and the student. The rates charged will be 35 dollars an hour. I can provide assistance with the content or with any projects (IAs, lab reports, etc. )
