About Daria
I am a third-year physics specialist student at the University of Toronto and on the Dean's List. I have experience volunteering as a tutor in high school in Ontario throughout my grade 12 journey, helping students with courses like SPH3U and SPH4U (grade 11 and 12 physics), SCH3U and SCH4U (grade 11 and 12 chemistry), MCR3U and MHF4U (grade 11 and 12 functions), and MCV4U (calculus and vectors). I myself have taken these courses in high school, and trust me, I know what pressure you are under. I am here to help!

The best results come from genuinely being interested in the topic and working hard. In my lessons I make sure to interest students by giving problems related to real-life scenarios, examples of applications, and fun facts or historical remarks. Failing and making mistakes are part of the process! I teach that struggle is normal. The difference between a person that got a 98% in the course and a person that failed it is that the first person got up and kept going after falling.
I make personalized study plans and keep track of all the topics my student struggles with to make sure we fill in the gaps and strengthen the knowledge. No need to use AI when you have a question or are struggling with homework. Besides scheduled lessons, I am available by text throughout the day and happy to answer any questions or give hints!
Besides English, I am available to tutor the same courses in the Ukrainian or Russian languages.
