Hi! I’m James, a professional vocal coach and the owner of A Dawn Of Music Studios. I’m passionate about helping singers develop their voice, build confidence, and discover what they are truly capable of as performers.

My approach to vocal training combines **healthy vocal technique, practical exercises, musicality, and performance skills**. I believe every singer has a unique voice, so I tailor lessons to the individual rather than trying to make every student sing the same way.

Whether you're a complete beginner, an experienced singer looking to improve, or someone who simply wants to become more confident singing in front of others, I can help you develop a stronger and more controlled voice.

My Teaching Philosophy

I want students to understand **how their voice works**, not simply copy exercises.

We'll work together to identify what is holding your voice back and develop exercises that address those specific areas. I also believe practice should have a purpose. Instead of spending hours repeating exercises without knowing why, you'll learn what each exercise is developing and how to apply it to actual songs.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable using your voice. **Good singing isn't just about hitting the right notes—it’s about control, expression, confidence, and communicating something to your audience.

All Experience Levels Welcome

You don't need previous vocal training to get started. I work with beginners, intermediate singers, and more advanced vocalists.

Achieve Vocal Excellence: Personalized Singing Lessons for Aspiring Performers & Musical Theater Artists

We specialize in popular music while also offering training in classical vocal technique. Whether you’ve always wanted to become a stronger rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel, opera, or R&B singer, our experienced instructors can help you develop the skills and confidence to reach your goals.

Each week, students work with their teacher on personalized vocal exercises designed to strengthen and expand their voice. Training may include:

Vocal range and flexibility
Ear training and pitch accuracy
Breath control and support
Vibrato
Tone production
Enunciation and diction
Vocal strength and stamina
Performance technique

Every student is unique, which is why we work together to establish individual goals. Some students want to learn to sing like their favorite recording artists, while others want to discover and develop their own distinctive sound. Our teachers tailor lessons to each singer’s interests, experience, and aspirations.

Our vocal coaching isn’t limited to singers. We also work with local television and radio personalities, public speakers, and other professionals who want to strengthen, refine, and enhance their speaking voices.
