I’m a passionate guitar tutor with a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music (Guitar) and over 10 years of experience playing and teaching across multiple genres. My background blends academic training with hands-on performance in styles ranging from rock and classical to folk and blues. I love helping students unlock their creativity while building strong technical foundations. Whether you're a young beginner picking up the guitar for the first time or an adult returning to music after years away, I tailor lessons to your goals and pace. I focus on developing both confidence and skill, ensuring each student feels supported in their journey. Technique, musicality, and expression are at the heart of my approach. From understanding chord shapes to mastering your favorite riffs, we’ll explore a wide variety of material to keep learning fun and rewarding. I also incorporate ear training, rhythm work, and improvisation to help you become a well-rounded musician. Seeing my students grow and connect emotionally with their playing is the most rewarding part of teaching. I believe music should be both structured and freeing.
