About Lily
With 6 years of experience as a Biology tutor, I have helped students build strong subject knowledge while developing the confidence needed to succeed academically. I am passionate about making Biology understandable and interesting by connecting scientific concepts with real-world examples and everyday life.
Every student has different strengths and challenges, so I personalise my lessons according to their level, learning preferences, and goals. Whether you are preparing for an examination, catching up on missed topics, or looking to achieve higher grades, I can structure our sessions around your individual needs.
We can explore topics such as cells, genetics, evolution, ecology, reproduction, human physiology, microorganisms, and molecular Biology. I break complicated processes into clear steps and use diagrams, explanations, questions, and practical examples to reinforce understanding.
I believe effective Biology tutoring should develop more than factual knowledge. I help students learn how to analyse information, interpret diagrams and data, apply concepts to unfamiliar questions, and communicate scientific ideas clearly. For exam preparation, we can also practise past-paper and exam-style questions while identifying areas that require further attention.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I aim to create a comfortable atmosphere where students can ask questions freely and learn from mistakes. My ultimate goal is to help you become a confident, independent, and successful Biology learner.

I offer personalised Biology lessons that focus on understanding, confidence, and steady progress.
